What is Tai Chi & Qigong?
Qigong and then Tai Chi arose from the close observation of nature and it's natural movements. The word 'Qi' means energy or life force, and the word 'gong' means skill or work. In simple terms Qigong and tai chi are about working with the energy of the body in natural and skillful ways.
Relaxation & Stillness
Unlike most western exercise the aim of Tai Chi and Qigong is to feel more relaxed and peaceful when you finish practicing. Tai Chi and Qigong focus on relaxing and softening the body so that energy can flow more freely. This can over time help the body to heal and feel more rested and restored.
